I thought it'd be super-crowded with those enjoying the fall colors (just as the Nanzen temple is ultra-crowded), but it was actually less crowded than last time! These were some trees overlooking the hedge at the back end of the little parking lot. |

![]() 26-Nov-2005 8:56.43 AM Some trees were just spectacular, and it seems that today, in the Ryouan Temple, Kyoto, most trees were "some trees". I wish it had been more sunny, though. It was hazy and partly sunny, so most photos just don't come close to capturing the brillance of the day. |
