20-Nov-2005    1:08.05 PM (aged 3 years, 28 days) Just before we arrived home, I remembered that there was a daycare-center event at the Kyoto Chamber of Commerce, which is near home, so we stopped in. Anthony was very shy, but eventually started to play. That he's playing in the kitchen area instead of with the trains is a testament to our trying to broaden his play horizons.	20-Nov-2005    1:40.34 PM Of course, he eventually found his way to the trains (but not until after lots of kitchen play, reading some books, and some running and jumping)	20-Nov-2005    1:41.46 PM When he plays, he generally concentrates intently on what he's doing.

I couldn't capture the feeling well, but the colors were extremely vibrant and inviting. Normally this kind of thing would not appeal to me at all, but the way that they were displayed, as a whole, was much more than the sum of the parts.
