The orange gate is of the Heian Shrine (which is behind the Kyoto Prefectural Library, which is behind the art museum). 31-Jul-2005    9:05.19 AM A kid was about to play in the water (looks like he was trying to catch minnows). Once last week, I saw 30 preschool kids playing int the water with their five teachers. My biggest regret about this condo is that the south veranda wall (which you see in the center-right) does not have a window. It has a passthrough on the first floor, so it's not like the wall is needed for structural support. Sigh.
