The Jingu-michi bridge over the canal, just in front of the Heian-shrine main gate, as taken from the canal right in front of our place. In this one, the focus is on the blossoms in the foreground, with the background out of focus, making an interesting, soft effect.

The construction of the restraunt on the land adjacent to our plot has started, with a big machine that basically rototills four meters deep, mixing the soil with concrete to firm it up. Being near a river, I guess it needs it.
