This picture gives some hint at the explosion of blossoms that adorns the trees during "mankai" (full bloom). I often like to sit along the river in this area, just to listen to the water gurgle. This is the first time I've seen the tree if full bloom, and it's quite nice. The land we bought is directly across the river from it. Compare to December.
