Looking past the diningroom/livingroom and veranda to the construction outside. There's an apartment building being constructed on the adjacent property, but construction has stopped for unknown reasons. One theory is that they ran out of money, and another is that they ran afoul of the building department. In any case, we're happpy that it's at least delayed. When you sit down in the apartment, you generally don't see the construction, but only the green mountains on the other side of it....
