In a neighboring room were a dozen subrooms full of paintings by kids (mostly 5 and 6 years old). I couldn't capture the feeling well, but the colors were extremely vibrant and inviting. Normally this kind of thing would not appeal to me at all, but the way that they were displayed, as a whole, was much more than the sum of the parts. Very well done (the display, not my photo)

A view east over the canal toward the mountains, from the Jingu-michi bridge (1 min from my house). It's somewhat of an idealized view, as the original shows.
